- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 cups oatmeal
- 1 cup coconut
- 6 Tbsps cocoa
- 1 tsp vanilla
Steps
- In a large pot, combine butter, sugar and milk.
- Bring mixture to a boil, stirring often.
- Meanwhile get other ingredients ready, in separate bowls/containers.
- Once mixture has boiled, remove from heat.
- Add in cocoa and stir.
- Add in vanilla and stir.
- Add in coconut and stir.
- Add in oatmeal and stir.
- When mixture is stirred in completely, drop by spoonful onto wax paper on baking pans.
- Refrigerate/Freeze until set.

I like these! I make the similar version that has peanut butter instead of coconut. I think they are especially good after being kept in the freezer (it doesn't take long for them to soften after you remove them).
